Cards for Demo Day at PhotoScraps

On every 2nd Saturday of the month, my local scrapbook store has a demo day. You pay $2 a ticket and a ticket buys you a project. It's all cut and ready to go for you. Sometimes I am lucky enough to participate as an instructor/designer.

Here are two cards that were offered in January:

Asher's Birth Day

My husband thought it would be cute to give a card to Asher on his 0 birthday-- his actual day of birth. Hence, a card for the new tiny Aries. Uses Mama Elephant Cosmic Stars for tiny image and Papertrey Ink Wet Paint for the Happy. Colors are better in person. :)

Another one for the Nest

Sister in law asked for another congrats in expecting card. Digital stamp from 2cuteink. Embossing was a spellbinders folder and it tore the delicate brown scrap I hade. Tiny heart from "tree" and Milo's ABCs letter stamps are from Lawn Fawn. It was meant to be a quick card.

Just hopping by...

I had a lot of fun playing with this 2 Cute Ink image to a make a springy card this morning despite a migraine making it impossible to drive. The photopolymer stamp is called Funny Bunnies and is available from Lil' Inker Designs. The cute sentiment  is in the same set. The yellow back ground is Squeezed Lemonade and More Mustard Distress ink with a Hero Arts magical stamp. The flower paper is from Lawn Fawn. The green paper is called "Baby Blossoms"  from Doodlebug Designs. Coloring is with Copic Markers. The circle "stitched" die and line is from My Favorite Things. The bow is the result of an ingenious die from Lil' Inker Designs. The scalloped circle is from Spellbinders.

Birthday card for 7 year old

This is for my son's little friend. He colored the sentiment and picked the stamps and papers. I should have cited the bottom tier if the cake pink as well. But this card was start to finish 9 minutes. I had completely forgotten about the party. And, of course, since the cake only had four candles, I had to add three more. That meant I had to hand draw the wicks and flames on the franken-candles. How'd I do? Sorry for the blurry pic, hustling out the door.
Dies from Spellbinders,Lawn Fawn, and My Favorite Things.
Crate paper Maggie Holms
Cake Stampin' Up. Sentiment, unknown.
